Today, Lane 8 delivers his fourth curated volume of Root To Branch, featuring Ocula, Hexlogic, and Artche. If you’re someone who prefers the more melodic side of house music over the high-energy club bangers, then this compilation (and the rest of the label, honestly) is definitely for you. Each track on here is rich with euphoric vibes and are perfect for zoning out to. Much of Lane 8’s music can be melancholic, but the music put out by his label signees today is warm and happy. Tasty Chinese food has lots of options for not much money at these South Bay eateries - The Daily Breeze

But in recent days, enough places of serious quality, with truly authentic cooking, have popped up to make it safe to say that a Chinese culinary community is growing on the southern edge of the South Bay. From the newly opened Muodu Shanghai, to Ruiji Sichuan, A-1 Chinese BBQ, Szechuan Chinese and Lucky #1, there’s plenty of good reasons to polish your chopstick skills. And add to that calculus the South Bay branch of Tasty Noodle House Shanghai Cuisine, and the argument gets that much stronger. There are seven branches of Tasty Noodle throughout Southern California, stretching from West LA to San Diego, with a branch in Hacienda Heights on the eastern edge of the San Gabriel Valley, in the midst of yet another world of Chinese restaurants. The selection isn’t as big as it is at some of the San Gabriel Valley dim sum palaces, with dozens of dishes emerging on rolling carts. But it’s definitely sufficient.A fine meal can be made of the green onion pancakes, the grilled pork bun or grilled beef bun, the pork potstickers, the shrimp and pork dumplings — and the xiao long bao, soup dumpling...
